Hutt Valley District Health Board (HVDHB) runs the large Hutt Hospital which provides a range of specialist services to the local city and beyond.

Vibe which provides health services, support services, health promotion and education services for Hutt youth.

A number of private hospitals in Hutt City such as Boulcott Hospital provide private surgery to patients. There is also a large range of organisations that provide respite or hospice care, for example, Te Omanga Hospice.
