Quality of Life Social Monitoring Systems

The Social Monitoring System has been a core information resource for the Hutt City Council for a number of years. Its focus has been on demographic indicators and incorporating complementary data that provides a gauge of the well being of Hutt City Communities. The information has been used in conjunction with the Demographic Profile to identify social and economic trends. The Social Monitoring System has been replaced by the Quality of Life Project from 2004 on-wards. Information from this project about the Hutt City will be available in 2005.
